Groan...the new year has been tough on me. Firstly, I've gotta travel all the way from my home to NIE via TPE, SLE, KJE, BKE and Jalan Bahar. If the roads are smooth, 30 min driving time. If it's jam packed (like 75% of the time), it'll hit me for another 15 min extra.


Not only is the driving time draining on my mental alertness, my studies in Dip in School Counseling is pretty demanding. I've got two assignments that demands a write-up plus literature review (gotta search for journals and thesis) of 2000 words for each! Not only that, I'm only given like 2 weeks to 1 month to complete them! Not forgetting a 1-2 hour observation on any particular group activity and come out with reasons for their existence, the power structure, the hierarchy of needs, group goals, blah blah blah. And what is a studying course without presentation? Powerpoint? Got no points and no power from me....double groan....
