Got this from ds.ign.com:

"Joyce Neys, a PhD student, working with Dr. Ed Tan and Dr. Jeroen Jansz at the university's School of Communications Research, has designed a survey she hopes will help us understand why people play - and keep playing - video games.

According to Neys, there has been some research on the topic, but it's tended to focus on specific groups. Neys and her research partners would rather get a broad picture of gamers' motivations, so they've asked us to help out.

So casual gamers, power levelers, n00bs and hardcore achievement junkies alike - click the link below to take the survey. The English isn't 100 percent perfect, but neither is yours.

Motivations for Playing Videogames

The survey is six pages long and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Sorry, there's no boss at the end. We checked."

My bro Carl Wheeler and all you gamers out there do spend some time to do the survey ya?!
